Yandex says may need hundreds of specialists to train neural nets
MOSCOW, Apr 19 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company Yandex is looking for several hundreds of trainers for a new generation neural network, YaLM 2.0, a company representative told PRIME on Wednesday.
“Modern neural networks learn about the world from the Internet materials. To apply this knowledge in practice, neural networks need a trainer to show the examples of successfully solved tasks and assess their answers,” the representative said.
“We are looking for teachers for the generative model of the new generation, YaLM 2.0. One should work much with texts in this position -- to rate, edit, and write them. Several hundreds of such specialists could be needed.”
Alexei Gusakov, head of the department of machine intellect and research, said that such specialists are required because the company is working on YaLM 2.0 to be exploited in voice assistant Alice, Search, and other services.
